PFG
This site gives you access to the Programme Function Grid (PFG) of MSF.
The Programme Function Grid is the new framework for programme functions
across MSF. It provides access to function titles, GGF levels and standard
function profiles.
The PFG will progressively replace the International Reference Field
Function Grid (IRFFG) during the 2026–2030 transition period. During this
transition, both grids will remain available while the new framework is
introduced across MSF programmes.
This website provides access to the current PFG function grid, function
profiles and related guidance documents.
For questions regarding the PFG, contact your HR Technical Referent or the
PFG focal point.

• On the MSF International page, you will find the complete
Programme Function Grid currently available on this website.
Clicking on a function will take you to its standard function profile.
Profiles can be viewed in English, French and Spanish where translations
are available.
The function grid can also be downloaded as an XLSX file.
• On the OC-specific pages, you will find the PFG functions
selected for display by each Operational Centre.
Clicking on a function will take you to its shared standard function profile.
• The latest available PFG guidelines and documents can be
